CopperCairn Terms & Conditions

‘We’ refers to CopperCairn Ltd. ‘Guest’ refers to the client that made the booking.

Thank you for choosing CopperCairn Ltd for your tour experience. We want to ensure that your journey with us is smooth and enjoyable. Kindly review the following information regarding your booking:

 

  1. To secure your tour date(s), we require a minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost upon booking. This deposit is non-transferable.

  2. The balance payment is due no later than 12 weeks before the tour. Failure to submit the balance payment will result in the cancellation of your tour.

  3. Last-minute bookings or bookings made within 12 weeks of the tour date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  4. We accept payment via Bank Transfer or Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/Amex. Any amounts over £5000 must be paid by bank transfer. Please ensure that the full amount for your tour is received.

  5. In the event of a vehicle issue beyond our control, we will endeavour to provide an alternative vehicle for any part of the tour.

  6. Prior to joining us for your tour, please consult your doctor if you have any health concerns to ensure you are fit for the experience.

  7. While we strive to maintain our program as planned, circumstances such as guide/whisky expert/distillery cancellations may necessitate changes. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but we cannot be held responsible for any additional incurred costs.

  8. Discounts may be offered for last-minute bookings. However, these discounts do not affect previously paid full-price bookings.

  9. CopperCairn Ltd accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or illness during the tour, nor for travel costs to or from the tour pick-up/drop-ff point.

  10. We strongly advise guests to obtain travel insurance to cover any potential losses or injuries, including repatriation if necessary.

  11. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required health documentation.

  12. Guests must behave respectfully and refrain from engaging in rude or offensive behaviour or illegal activities. We reserve the right to remove guests who disrupt the experience without compensation.

  13. Travel tickets such as airfares and trains are the guest's responsibility to organise and communicate accurate arrival and departure times to us.

  14. We may not be able to fulfil our contractual obligations in unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to relocate guests to a similar venue, with possible supplementary charges.

  15. Your personal information will be kept confidential and may only be shared when required by authorities. We may contact you with promotional information occasionally.

  16. All photographs and materials displayed on our website are exclusively owned by CopperCairn Ltd and may not be copied or used for other purposes.

  17. All guests must be of legal drinking age in the UK.

  18. Guests are kindly requested to refrain from making any changes to the itinerary within 7 days before the start of the tour date. We strive to ensure a seamless experience for all participants, and changes made within this timeframe may disrupt arrangements and logistics.

  19. For groups consisting of more than 10 guests, it is a requirement to have at least one designated CopperCairn team chaperone accompanying the group for the entirety of their trip. This ensures the safety and smooth coordination of larger groups, allowing us to provide personalised attention and assistance throughout the tour.

  20. Non-refundable deposits paid by CopperCairn on behalf of the guest for any accommodation, activities or outside transportation are forfeited in the event of cancellation by the guest.

 

Cancellation Policies:

  • 12 weeks or more before the tour: 100% refund, minus the deposit.

  • 8 to 12 weeks before the tour: 50% refund, minus the deposit.

  • 4 to 8 weeks before the tour: 25% refund, minus the deposit.

  • Up to 4 weeks before the tour: 0% refund will be given.

 

You may cancel your tour at any time by submitting a written request. Once the tour has commenced, no refunds will be issued for cancellations.

 

Declaration: By proceeding with the booking and making payment, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above. Furthermore, the guest accepts full responsibility for themselves and any members of their party during the tour with CopperCairn Ltd.
